A major newspaper group is currently looking to recruit to a Lead Designer / Art Director for their marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful print and on-line paper and be involved in presenting their well-known brand.
Based in their impressive London offices, the Lead Designer will be involved in designing all marketing campaigns and customer communications to drive revenue and subscription rates. This will include:-
-Leading the department's creative process, both offline and online
-Driving the creative concepts and creating marketing strategies to increase digital subscriptions
-Being responsible for designing concepts for advertisements, emails, online adverts and promotional materials
-Overseeing the creative output of the design team
-Acting as a mentor to junior members of the design team
Applicants for the Lead Designer / Art Director must have extensive design experience demonstrated in a portfolio. Significant experience in digital design is essential, ideally with HTML skills and experience of rich media and flash. Knowledge of working within brand guidelines is required and experience of mentoring / supervising a team would be an advantage.
