NQ Shipping Solicitor - City - £50-£60k

My client, an international practice and leading light in the shipping sector are looking to appoint a 0-2 years PQE Shipping Solicitor. Candidates will ideally have a mixed background in contentious and non-contentious shipping gained in a major city or international practice. We will also consider those with post qualification experience gained within a P&I Club.

As a recognised market leader with operations across the globe, my client have a sound understanding of how the market works across dry shipping, admiralty and crisis management and transactional work. They represent the full spectrum of those involved in the industry, including shipowners and charterers, P&I Clubs, banks, international agencies, shipyards, marine insurance underwriters, governments and brokers.

The ideal candidate will have 0-2 years experience at a leading City or International Practice. You will be passionate about litigation and, if qualified, may have some experience working in-house. You will be supporting the Partner on a broad range of dry shipping matters, though as suggested, a high level of contentious matters.

This is a rare opportunity to join a great team. Applications will be held in confidence.

Please contact Jon Paul Hanrahan to discuss the role in more detail or apply through the vacancy for immediate consideration. If, following an application you have not been contacted within 5 working days you have not been successful on this occasion.
