Founded in 2002, this privately owned organisation specialises in providing technical support, computer services, and consulting to SME’s throughout London and the UK. Partnering with Microsoft, HP, Cisco, Dell and Apple (to name just a few) this established tech business services over 100 clients creating highly tailored, bespoke, technical solutions for each one. Due to ongoing expansion they are now seeking a 1st Line Support / IT Support to join the team.
Joining as a 1st Line Support Engineer / IT Support Technician you will assist the Technical Manager with the planning, installation and configuration of a variety of IT projects from desktop roll outs, server migrations and new server installations. As a Microsoft Gold partner you will be exposed to such topics as virtualisation, network design, disaster recovery, business continuity, hosting services, security and bespoke managed solutions.
To qualify... You will need to be a customer focussed, technology savvy IT professional (1st Line Support Engineer / IT Support Exec or similar) with skills/experience that covers the following:
- Prior commercial IT related experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate technical issues to all levels and build a rapport easily.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills & team player attitude.
- Ability to work in the UK.
Any exposure to: Windows XP, Vista, 7’ Windows Server 2003-2008; Microsoft Exchange Server 2003-2010; Small Business Server 2003-2011; Network protocols is advantageous.
