To supervise the Maintenance group and be responsible for 5 technicians and an administrator. To deliver the requirements of the Maintenance department to ensure Plant and equipment is maintained in a safe and effective condition at all times, along with continuous improvements. Also includes Maintenance tasks and projects as required.
Maintain the production areas, facilities and utilities within the constraints of the repairs and maintenance budget.
Maintain the (Research Centre), facilities and utilities within the constraints of the repairs and maintenance budget.
Ensure that recurring faults are eradicated by driving the Maintenance team to address the root cause of the issues, across the Kent sites. Develop equipment reliability and continuous improvement approach to ensure that equipment spares are kept to a minimum. Ensure the maintenance team are trained and developed to meet their full potential.
Person Specification:
Ideally from a pharmaceutical industry or similar environment, forward thinker, with ambition and flair
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in an Engineering Discipline,
Significant multidisciplinary experience in a maintenance environment,
Supervisory experience including management of contractors,
Sound understanding of statutory requirements.
RCA skills and experience.
Project Management Experience.
Reliability Engineering Experience.
Familiarisation with a CMMS system, including ability to enhance.
An understanding of condition based monitoring techniques and applications.
Served an indentured apprenticeship in an Engineering discipline
