Facilities Manager
Our customer delivers design, infrastructure, management, real estate and outsourcing solutions on a local, national and international scale. They are now looking to recruit a Facilities Manager to cover multiple sites from Berkshire to South East London.
The role
The role of the Facilities Manager is to work alongside the management surveyors with responsibility for the smooth running of a portfolio of buildings. Whilst the Surveyor will be responsible for the Client (Landlord), the Facilities Manager will be responsible for the relationship with the tenant. The Facilities Manager will form part of a regional facilities management team providing a full range of facilities services to our commercial property portfolios.
The role of the Facilities Manager is to be able to demonstrate initiative and administer the necessary services and management skills to efficiently and proactively manage a portfolio. This will be achieved by supporting and promoting the creation of a strong service culture that is built upon the vision and values of the business.
The person
We are looking to attract a candidate with the following skills and experience;
- Proven ability to manage contractors and in-house staff
- Ability to manage priorities and meet demanding customer expectations
- Experience of financial management for service charges and budgeting on multi-let properties
- Previous experience of managing multiple sites
- IOSH Certification
- BIFM qualification would be an advantage
