This London based charity is looking for a Relationships Manager (New Business) Individual Giving to work closely with the Head of Individual Giving. The charity is undergoing significant development in many areas which includes undergoing their fundraising strategy.
The role of the Relationships Manager is to generate income for the charity from high net worth individuals. This will include new business and the account management of current donors. This role will be responsible for leading on the establishing and the running of volunteer-led fundraising initiatives. The Relationships Manager will also be responsible for managing and maintaining existing relationships as well as identifying and delivering additional revenue from new business opportunities.
Duties will include:
To generate significant income from your prospect and donor portfolio
To work with the Individual Giving team to set appropriate financial targets
To engage in prospect planning and donor management across a diverse portfolio of supporters
To provide one-to-one support to trustees and senior fundraising volunteers
To organise cultivation events, in collaboration with the Events team.
To attend high level cultivation events/meetings
Candidates applying will have had substantial success in a fund raising role together with excellent sales and account management skills. Proven experience of hitting targets for new and exiting clients is essential. Experience of setting up and implementing new sector and business opportunities is also required. Experience of the not for profit and private sector, together with good personal networks would be advantageous.
