RELATE West Surrey is a member of the Relate Federation which is the country’s largest provider of relationship support. Relate campaigns to make relationship support available to children, adults and families at the heart of the social justice agenda. The charity is governed by a Board of Trustees, all of them volunteers, who are deeply committed to realising their vision of a future in which healthy and happy relationships form the heart of a thriving society.
It deals with real life issues which affect children and young people, their families and their communities, and engages with the social and economic realities of their lives, experiences and attitudes
RELATE West Surrey, a busy progressive centre, are currently looking for a Chair of the Board of Trustees.
For this particular vacancy, qualities sought are a dynamic and creative individual with good leadership skills, able to take an overview and drive through necessary changes. Ability to chair meetings and experience of committee work are sought with the ability to encourage and foster team spirit and inspire colleagues.
This could be an ideal opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant contribution to this valuable community service to the people of West Surrey.
