Developer - Expanding Digital Agency - Central London - Permanent - £24-29,000
My client who is a leading innovative agency who specialises in all areas of marketing with a client base of large house hold names are currently expanding there digital division by adding another talented Developer to the team. They are a very creative group of individuals who are very passionate and driven by what they bring to the business and are seeking someone with a natural flare and enthusiasm to there already successful and award winning team.
Skills Required:
*min 2 years' experience in coding background
*creative flair and passion for all that is Digital
*strong front-end Developer skills but also has a good understanding of back-end coding
*designer, coder and developer in one (including AS3, JS, HTML5, CSS3, Adobe CS, social media/mobile applications)
*skills on the design to a degree, while concepts and elements for digital are generally provided by the Print & Design Team, when doing basic elements such a leaderboards/MPUs/screensavers the candidate should have design skills to complete these if needed
*experience in game development and social network API's
*strong portfolio that demonstrates a breadth and depth of experience in digital coding, design and user interface development and new technologies
*mobile web and app development is advantageous
FLASH
*Designing and building web ads, games, microsites and any other online assets
*ActionScript 2 and/or 3
*Timeline animation
*Tweening with code
*Game logic & basic physics
*Uploading and saving image files
*Familiarity with building ads for the Eyeblaster platform
*Familiarity with building ads for Google/YouTube
*Flashtalking
*Working with FLV
*Building screensavers for Screentime
OTHER ADOBE CS
*Design skills with abilities in web optimization
*Photoshop, and/or Illustrator (as good as possible in either or both)
*Dreamweaver
*Adobe Media Encoder:
*Optimising and encoding FLV for EyeBlaster ads and other online use
*InDesign
DEVELOPMENT SKILLS
*Building the back-end of the apps, games and sites
*PHP/MySQL:
*Basic-moderate ability needed
*Create and maintain scaleable databases
*Read & write to databases from Flash via PHP scripts
*Send dynamic HTML emails either from Flash or via PHP scripts
*Upload, save, manipulate files
*XML
*Basic skill
*HTML/CSS:
*Moderate ability in both
*Understanding of quirks CSS for IE6 etc
FACEBOOK & TWITTER
*Basic skills such as sharing links and images
*Pulling Twitter streams e.g. into Flash
*Adding tabs to facebook pages with Flash and HTML content
