THE COMPANY:

 

The world leader in the provision of software solutions to the Music and Entertainment industry is looking for a talented and experienced ASP.Net developer to join a small team working with a varied range of exciting new and existing products in a growing area of the business.

 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

The experience required for this role is as follows:

 

Essential:

 

·         A minimum of 5 years commercial experience in developing data-driven web applications using ASP.Net, SQLServer and C#, preferably using .Net 3.5/4 and SQLServer 2005/2008

·         A good working knowledge of OOD methodologies

·         Good communication skills and an excellent standard of written English, to the extent that you could give support to the company’s clients by email

Please note the above are essential: You require all of the above in order to be eligible for this role.

 

Preferred:

 

·         JavaScript inc JQuery or other frameworks

·         HTML/CSS design skills

·         Linq/Lambda Expressions

·         Database design and performance tuning

·         IIS 6/7

·         Web services (WCF/REST)

·         Building custom controls.

Desirable

 

The following experience is desirable, though not essential:

 

·         ASP.Net MVC

·         TDD

·         Agile

·         HTML 5/CSS3

·         ETL/Data Warehousing/Reporting

·         An awareness of future tech (vNext/Windows 8/WinRT/Metro)

 

THE ROLE:

 

This is a development-focused role, but it also offers the chance to get involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle, and is an exciting opportunity to contribute and influence the future direction of the team.
