Bilingual Technical Translator (Swedish/English)

Our client, a large, global business with a market-leading position in their field, is currently seeking an experienced translator with fluency in English and Swedish to join their busy team in Leeds.
The successful candidate will have the following duties:
- Translation and localisation of product data
- Material to include website content, direct mail and marketing texts
- Updating of texts
- Proofreading of content
- Review and action failed search terms
- Provide local language translation and/or proofreading support as required
You will be translating from English into Swedish. A full job description will be supplied to applicants after initial screening.
To be considered for this position, you must be fluent in English and Swedish and have experience in a technical translation role. You will be able to translate information relating to electronic products for technical specifications and also within a marketing context. Ideally, you will be degree-qualified; however, this is not essential. A strong team worker with excellent communication skills, you will pay attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise your own work load. Good knowledge of Microsoft packages is required for this role.
