
This London based charity is looking to recruit a Senior Insight Manager to work closely with the Head of Marketing. The Senior Insight Manager will have an understanding of how the business operates in the charity sector environment, combined with high level technical expertise; lead the team in providing analysis, insight and recommendations.
The Senior Insight Manager will support the development and embedding of a supporter-centric approach through supporting the delivery of supporter journey's and CRM strategy. This role will require a high level of technical expertise using statistical and customer data from a variety of data sources and with a deep understanding of charitable supporters, delve into data, produce insight and fully interpret relevance for the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead on the development and ongoing management and embedding of a customer segmentation model
Lead the communications department
Lead the team in providing market insight and business recommendations
Measure, collate, analyse and interpret internal and external data to report
Review all channels (on and offline).
Lead and deliver communications evaluation on major projects, products and campaigns
Develop a support and training programme for teams
Develop a central knowledge base of insight and ensure maximum dissemination through the business
Candidates applying will hold a degree with substantive marketing content or, qualification from chartered institute of marketing or the institute of DirectMarketing. Excellent IT skills, including use of statistics packages such as SPSS, an advanced knowledge of Excel and knowledge of SQL server scripting/programming, SAS, Dashboard creation, SEO, online intelligence is required. Excellent knowledge and comprehensive understanding of customer databases, and supporter segmentation within a charity environment is essential together with the understanding of current trends and approaches to providing customer insight. Experience of leading and delivering campaign reporting, metrics, insights and business recommendations is also required.
