Joining as a Lead Support Developer / Head of Development Support (with key skills in PHP and PostgreSQL) you will manage a small team undertaking a variety of essential duties ranging from minor issues to development tasks that may take days to deploy.
Combining strong management, communication and coding skills you will work closely with the Technical Director, Head of Application Development and others within the organisation to ensure issues are resolved quickly; customer expectations are met and technical consistency is maintained.
Required Skills... Joining from either a Development / Development Support / Web Development background, or similar, you should be able to demonstrate:
- Good knowledge & experience of PHP.
- Experience in using SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Independent problem solving skills; flexibility to meet tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn.
Advantageous: Any exposure to: JavaScript, AJAX, Apache, Linux, Mobile Development, MVC frameworks would be beneficial as would any prior experience within application development (particularly User Experience).
