This social enterprise is looking to recruit an Interim Financial Controller as a key senior Manager responsible for maximising business efficiency, productivity and profit across the Group to support the Company's growth in line with its Corporate Plan.
The Interim Financial Controller will be responsible for providing financial expertise via accurate and timely management information, challenging, coaching and applying analytical review and planning/forecasting techniques using financial and non-financial data and internal and external benchmarks.
Duties to include:
Management and co-ordination of all financial processes, reporting, development
Lead and motivate the three Finance Business Partners and Assistant Financial Controller and control
Financial planning, forecasting business cases
Identify and evaluate areas for improvement of profit
Facilitate the Annual Budget process assisting the Finance Director with setting KPI's and parameters for annual budgets
Co-ordinate internal and external audits ensuring these are a deterrent, highlight areas of weakness and risk to the Company and amend processes and practices to address
Candidates applying will be a qualified accountant and have at least 3 years experience at a senior level managing a finance department in industry/commerce. Experience of implementing or streamlining processes and systems is essential together with evidence of staff development and training. Multi site/company background ideally leisure, retail or a complex multi facet business is desirable.
