EMEA PR Manager - eCommerce - Start ASAP

My client, a leading global eCommerce company with an international presence, is seeking an EMEA PR Manager to join them in their London office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known brand, with exceptional reach across the globe.

Responsibilities:

> You will be in charge of strategically planning, developing and implementing PR and communications strategy across Europe, with particular focus on protecting and growing my client's presence in the UK and Germany.
> As the Chief media liaison for EMEA, you will take control of developing communications, press releases, written statements, Q&A's for company announcements, product and service offerings, topical PR campaigns, and key business issues.
> Day-to-day management of UK and Germany Public Relations firms of record
> Coordinate support for individual projects, events and conferences
> Reach out to and expand my client's growing news/media network, ensuring the brand remains at the forefront of the market
> Advise and Assist in developing communications/collateral in response to enquiries from customers and the media
> Working with US offices to plan and develop global corporate communications campaigns/activities as and when required.
> Additional global marketing duties on an ad-hoc basis

Required Experience:

> Substantial experience leading corporate communications and/or public relations strategy and campaigns
> Previous PR/Comms experience in e-Commerce, consumer and/or hospitality advantageous
> Strong written, verbal and media relations skills a must
> Proven track record in planning, developing and successfully implementing product and service launches
> Proven ability developing and pitching stories to trade and business media with strong placement track record
> Previous experience working with/for PR agencies
> Social Media savvy
> Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present and promote concepts to others
> Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and lead projects with non-reporting team members, delivering projects on time and on budget
> Experience establishing and/or working within brand guidelines

SPEAK, READ AND WRITE TO NATIVE LEVEL IN ENGLISH. ADDITIONAL SKILLS IN GERMAN WOULD BE HIGHLY BENEFICIAL
