A trade and investment office based in Central London is urgently seeking a Business Development Officer to join their global network. Tasks are driven by attracting businesses to enter a new market and invest in a fast-growing economy in the Middle East. These will include targeted lead generation and follow up, networking at events and roadshows, attending meetings and presentations and delivering high quality service to clients to ensure long-term investment in the region. You will also provide support to the senior officer and be first point of contact for all incoming enquiries. You will be of graduate calibre with outstanding communication skills in native level English (French language skills a plus) and have experience of international trade and investment, preferably with an NGO, business association or trade promotion organisations, be a skilled networker and have a strong understanding of the Middle Eastern and UK markets, specifically energy, FMCG/retail, construction, hospitality and finance. This is a great opportunity to promote investment in a trade-friendly and progressive market with rewards including a salary of £20-33k plus perfromance-based bonus and benefits package.
