Senior Media Relations Manager (PR) - Italy - €55-65k
My client, a leading travel organisation is seeking to recruit a Senior Media Relations Manager to drive brand awareness among media across Italy. Please note this role is initially home based and the candidate must be based in Italy.
The candidate will have a vast amount of experience in a PR agency or in-house PR experience within a consumer brand.
In this role, main responsibilities will include,
*Be the lead spokesperson for the brand in Italy
*Implement local PR plans
*Write and edit press releases and other PR materials
*Manage the distribution and analysis of surveys
*Manage coordination of Italian social media channels for the brand
*Other media and PR activities included within the role
The successful candidate will speak both Italian and English fluently, will have an agency background and will have worked extensively with the Italian market. The candidate will have some managerial experience, will have consumer and corporate experience and will preferably have experience of having been a spokesperson for a brand. The ideal candidate would have experience in creating stories around surveys, will have outstanding writing skills as well have excellent communication skills in both Italian and English. Deep understanding of the Italian media landscape is required whereas travel industry experience and is desirable. The candidate will ideally be of Graduate calibre from a top journalism or communications programme.
