The Role
Due to their continued success, an opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join their team in Romsey, Hampshire. As a senior member of the team, you key focus will be to develop commercial sales within the industrial services division. This will involve leading the sales and operations teams, managing relationships with customers and suppliers and overseeing the sales strategy to ensure a smooth operation.
Your duties will include:
-Maintaining and developing customer accounts within the division
-Developing, establishing and maintaining a sales strategy for increasing sales
-Ensuring financial aspects are in line with company standards
-Ensuring the efficient use of vehicles, plant and labour
-Regularly reviewing supplier rates to ensure the best possible deal for the company
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience gained within the industrial services sector, this could be related to waste, chemical or cleaning. You will also need to have experience of motivating and managing a team. Successful candidates will also have:
-Account management experience
-A result oriented approach -Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
-Knowledge of health and safety regulations
