Responsible for all aspects of export and import activities, and ensure all transactions are in full compliance with UK, US or other applicable governments' laws or regulations. You will be degree educated or equivalent with previous experience in compliance functions, such as Export Compliance and Contracts Management.


The main responsibilities will include:
Update, implement & maintain Technology Management Control Plan (TMCP)
Lead & support the development of standard work, work instructions, and procedures which implement TMCP
Ensure that all customers, employees, suppliers, and transactions are properly screened
Provide applicable export and import classification for the company products subject to US and UK jurisdictions; coordinate efforts with the technical team.
Oversee Technical Data/ Technology and Hardware export approvals and associated marking requirements
Support rating and commodity jurisdiction requests to the governments by coordinating/collecting data
Ensure compliance with record keeping/logging requirements of UK and US regulations.
Oversee and Manage all aspects of international compliance training program
Manage all licensing activity (ITAR Agreements and UK Licenses) with Suppliers and Customers in close coordination with internal functional groups such as Sales, Contracts, Procurement
Conduct internal self-assessment and audits, and identify gaps and develop plans to fill the gaps in a sustained manner.
Coordinate with logistics service providers (e.g. brokers, freight forwarders, etc.) to ensure timely and compliant import and exports.
Provide reports to UK or U.S. export control authorities as necessary, support audits and data requests by government authorities as applicable.
Support investigations and/or disclosure processes as applicable. Report compliance concerns in a timely manner
Support ERP System improvements with IT Department to incorporate export controls
Maintain close communications and work under direction of the Worldwide Export Compliance Manager.
