They are now seeking a bright Web Developer (VB.Net or C#/.NET) to join the team and to get involved with building their next generation of solutions using Microsoft Technologies.
As a Web Developer (VB.Net or C#/.NET) you will primarily build IIS based websites, web based applications and services. There will be some traditional application and service development, so you will need to have a firm understanding of IIS web development and the ASP.NET lifecycle.
To qualify... Whether you call yourself an ASP.NET Developer, Web Developer, VB.NET Developer or similar, it doesn’t matter. You just need to be able to show key skills in the following:
- VB.NET or C#/.NET (with the willingness to switch to VB.NET).
- MS SQL 2000 – 2012.
- XML.
- JavaScript.
- JQuery.
- AJAX.
- Visual Studio.
- Object Orientated Design.
- Good communication skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- HTML/CSS.
Any exposure to HTML5/CSS3; MySQL; IIS Management; Server 2003/2008 Management; PHP; Linux or MS SQL Management would be advantageous.
