The Organisation:

The Green Recruitment Company represents a multinational technical advisory organisation that specialises in all aspects of renewable energy, power generation and transmission. Due to its increased growth it requires Wind Energy Experts.

The Role:

Our client is looking for a Wind Energy analyst to undertake an array of activities in a variety of different, but always interesting challenges including, analysing the effects of proposed wind farms and those that are already operational.

Duties:
• Analysis of potential and existing wind farms
• Manage projects, supervise and mentor other analysts
• Retrieve and manipulate large datasets using regional database tools
• Report upon results in a productive and insightful way

Skills and Experience:
Essential:
• Degree in Physics, mathematics or engineering
• Experience of wind analysis techniques
• Familiar with wind flow models such as WAsP, Windpro and/or CFD packages
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Flexible and proactive approach is required to thrive in this busy team
Desirable:
• Post-graduate qualification in a highly numerate discipline
• Familiar with MS access, VBA and Matlab
• Previous project management experience
