The Green Recruitment Company is representing is a leading independent renewable energy consultancy that offers consultancy, management & due diligence services across the sectors.


The Role:

Suitable for a GIS Technician willing to work on a six month contract. Who will report to the GIS Graphics Manager. The successful candidate will provide assistance on all GIS mapping and visualisation.

• Production of mapping and visualisations
• Production of GIS Maps
• Production of visualisations
• Upkeep of graphics database
• Obtaining and organising data acquired from other sources
• Ensuring drawing logs are kept up to date
• Archiving
• Application of the QA system to all geographic material produced for external issue in line with ISO requirements


Essential:

• Qualification in or equivalent in Geography, GIS or related subject.
• Experience in GIS industry.
• Microsoft office, in particular Excel and Access.
• Experience of executing GIS mapping and analysis using ArcGIS9.2.
• Experience of ArcGIS extensions – 3D Analysis & Spatial Analysis, ArcGIS Server, WebGIS, Adobe Creative Suite, programming in Visual Basic or related programming language, developing databases and AutoCAD.
