Joining as a Portuguese Translator / Brazilian Translator you will occupy a team lead role overseeing the quality of Brazilian translations, managing projects and maintaining strict schedules. Working closely with the Localisation Manager you will also work to improve current processes, recommend new tools, plan the localisation of new games and liaise with development teams to make sure localisation runs smoothly.
In short, it will be your expert Brazilian Portuguese translation experience that means translation projects get delivered on time and to the highest standards.
To qualify... We are seeking a Portuguese Translator / Brazilian Translator who can demonstrate:
- Outstanding Brazilian Portuguese and English written/spoken skills.
- Excellent Project and People Management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of the games industry.
- Previous Translation experience.
- Experience or good understanding of Localisation QA.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in priorities.
Any prior management experience or a degree in a relevant translation qualification is advantageous.
