The Organisation:


The Green Recruitment Company is recruiting for a UK Projects Lead/Process Engineer within a rapidly growing industrial and environmental company, managing contracts across many industrial sectors.


The Role:

The UK Projects Lead/ Process Engineer will:
* Lead and develop a small multi-disciplinary projects team, in charge of delivering a range of CapEx/OpEx projects from concept and proposal development through to completion.
* Be responsible for discipline engineering to develop water and waste-water design proposals to meet client needs.
* Project manage to deliver field based turnkey projects through procurement activity, sub-contractor management and supervision, system commissioning and handover.
* Lead and direct aspects of proposal development and delivery processes.
* Ensuring engineering safety and environmental standards are met within all designs.
* Optimise utilisation of UK and E&P team using man hour utilisation model at agreed rates or fixed cost estimates.
* Report to many levels and develop strong relationships with clients to ensure the success of projects and provision of detailed process advice.


Experience and skills:

The UK Projects Lead/ Process Engineer will:
* Have strong process engineering experience, ideally in industrial environments
* Have experience in a specific commercial role - involving development of project proposals
* Be an experienced team leader, preferably of a multi-disciplinary team.
* Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Have experience of design of water/waste-water treatment works from a process and M&E perspective.



Essential:
* BEng or BSc in Process or Chemical Engineering.
* Familiarity with current HSE legislation and best practices (preferably CDM exposure).
* Experience of delivery of multiple projects from £10 to circa £1M+.


Desirable:
* HNC/HND or equivalent in engineering discipline
* Specialist knowledge of risk assessment permit systems.
