The Organisation:
The Green Recruitment Company represents a prominent multinational engineering consultancy practice advising on bio energy, hydro, wave, tidal and wind projects around the world.

The Role:
Working alongside a growing dynamic team and with excellent career opportunities, the successful candidate will be able to contribute substantial EIA and Planning experience to the team.

Duties will include:
• Supporting project delivery of renewable energy projects and Environmental Impact Assessments both nationally and internationally
• Familiarity with relevant planning law and regulation
• Evaluating relevant documents for the client and reporting on findings
• Building working relationships within the environmental planning industry
• Liaising with various key groups, including sub contractors and current and future clients.

Duties may include:

• Travel abroad
• Expanding relevant legal knowledge
• Various other ad hoc activities when necessary

Experience and skills:
• Degree educated
• Understanding of UK EIA
• Technically proficient
• PC and IT literate
• Capable and confident report-writer with attention to detail and good organisation skills.
• Excellent communicator

Desirable:
• Educated in environmental subject to Post-grad level
• First-class knowledge of planning and regulation issues
• Interest and proven experience in renewable energy projects and sustainability.
• Private and public sector experience
• Proven knowledge of international Environmental Impact Assessments
