Forming part of a talented, cross functional team (C++ Developers, Java Developers, Build Engineers and QA Engineers) the Software Test Developer will work on automation testing projects, developing scripts, automated testing scenarios and utilities.
As part of your wider role expect to: Construct and implement the automation framework; create, review and maintain automated test scripts; drive initiatives to automate the performance profiling process; provide qualitative feedback and much more.
To qualify... We are seeking a Senior Software Tester (Automated) / Software Test Developer or similar who can demonstrate:
- Experience within an Automation Engineer, Tools Engineer or similar position.
- Knowledge of Java, C/C++ or C#.
- An understanding of unit, functional, stress, performance, security, regression testing & QA best practices.
- Strong defect investigation, analysis and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of software testing lifecycle and understanding of test strategies.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A high level of initiative, determination, autonomy and self-sufficiency.
- An ability to build effective working relationships and leverage them as appropriate to get things done.
Any prior experience of creating test frameworks from scratch, MMO games, or game software architectures is advantageous as is a Computer Science/Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
