The Organisation:

The Green Recruitment Company is representing a client that offers innovative investment opportunities to investors throughout the UK. They also provide funding options for well established companies.


The Role:

The client is looking for a senior portfolio director who will be responsible for a £500m portfolio account that shall be managed by April 2013. The candidate will come in at an investment director level. They will need to work closely with the solar finance team to establish the systems, processes and reports that are required both internally (management) and externally (banks and investors).
The Portfolio Director will be responsible for managing a team of portfolio managers who are dealing with financial and operational issues on a daily basis. The candidate should understand the commercial impact of issues as they arise and have the experience of finding solutions and/or ensuiring the appropriate updates are provided.


Experience and skills:

Essential:

At least 10 years working in a portfolio management or equivalent role.
Track record of establishing platform for reporting and managing the portfolio of investment or operational assets.
A renewable energy or power background would be strongly preferred.
Experience managing a team of people.
Accounting background (ACA or CIMA qualified)
