The Organisation:
The Green Recruitment Company is representing an innovative investment fund offering opportunities to investors throughout the UK in a range of markets. Benefitting from excellent funding streams, a major focus is current the expansion of the renewable energy investment finance team.

The Role:
The portfolio manager will work on existing portfolio projects. They will be required to perform the following tasks, with support from existing team members:
• Setup SolarCo database onto Quickbase (QB)
• Set-up of the billing system in QB and ensure the roles, responsibilities and procedures are documented clearly between parties.
• Manage the sale of stock purchased from the SolarCos to limited losses and ensure disposals are completed in line with EIS rules
• All largescale, small scale, samfi, new largescale contract terms need to be uploaded and reviewed on QB
• Help the Finance department with the processing and restructuring of the large scale companies’ accounts and contracts. Ensure all contracts are saved, reviewed and reflected in the QB systems correctly
• Managing Domestic installs and create process for the transfer of FIT and License over to the farmers at 1 year point or negotiate the extension of the license if need be

More generally the work of the Portfolio Manager will include the following:

• Review the progress with LS on each site reaching PAC in a timely manner
• Seeding new companies as and when required
• Working closely with Solar Finance to facilitate flow of information and ensure reporting requirements are met
• Working closely with Asset Management team incl pre PAC team to stay on top of all operational issues
• Working closely with Sfin Portfolio team to ensure the solar team is delivering what it needs to in relation to EIS certificates and reporting requirements

Experience and skills:
Essential:
• At least 3 years experience in a financial analyst/project finance role
• Strong academic – numerate – background
• Excellent understanding of renewable energy investments and assets
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to collect, consolidate, analyse and summarise large volumes of data in a clear and concise manner – produce timely/accurate reports for review by the investment team and for monthly presentation to senior management

Desirable:

• Experience in a portfolio finance team in the energy sector would be ideal.
