Are you a results oriented self starter with a background in Public Relations or Journalism?
Would you like to build on your existing media campaign skills working for an established public sector organisation?
We are seeking a Campaigns Press Officer with proven experience of developing projects and implementing intiatives to support this client on a three month contract, with the possibility of extension.
You will use a variety of communications channels to deliver key messages, using both social and digital media to engage with audiences and increase exposure.
Furthermore, you will put measure in place to track the effectiveness of these campaigns, cultivating effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and scheduling campaigns to achieve maximum effectiveness.
What we're looking for:
*A background in Journalism or public relations and knowledge of digital and social media techniques
*Exposure to the public sector, ideally central or local government
*Ability to coordinate a variety of complex tasks and develop several projects simultaneously
*Knowledge of the London media
*Experience of copywriting and interviewing
*Excellent interpersonal, listening and communication skills
