Located in Central London (between Waterloo and London Bridge stations) our client delivers exceptional financial content to a large subscriber base.  Launched in 2000, their flagship weekly investment magazine covers financial and economic news across the UK and global markets.  This role presents an excellent opportunity for an Audio Visual Technical Assistant / AV Technician at Graduate level or equivalent to join their marketing/production team.

Passionate about audio and visual technology you will need to be an ambitious, self motivated hard worker keen to show what you can do.  You will play a key role in producing and developing, marketing video promotions, training videos, video tutorials that help promote and enhance subscriber experiences.  In more detail, your role will include:

  • Laying out marketing copy in PowerPoint, researching images/video/audio.
  • Managing and finalising the audio recording process with editors.
  • Recording and editing live presentations.
  • Ensuring that productions are legal and copy compliant.
  • Developing technical and creative methods used in audio/visual channels.
  • Setting up, maintaining and managing studio equipment.
  • Producing reports on video performance.


To qualify...  We are seeking a Graduate AV Technician / Audio Video Technical Assistant / Live Production Assistant or similar that can demonstrate the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media or relevant subject area.
  • Strong computer literacy, including experience with Video/Audio editing and production packages.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in modern audio/video production techniques and processes.
  • Willingness to learn with an interest in finance a bonus.
