Job Title: CAD Draughtsman

The Company
Our client is a privately owned independent firm specialising in the manufacture, supply, design and installation of ductwork systems. Now with almost 30 years of operations behind them, they have made major investments to the business, this includes redevelopment of their modern offices and factory, which is now equipped with the latest state of the art technology and machinery.
The Role
Due to continued growth, our client is now looking for a CAD Draughtsman for their premises in West Byfleet, Surrey.
Primary Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-Discussing the brief with the team or project leader.
-Working from drawings, models or computer models.
Using specialist computer software to build up accurate on-screen drawings that can be viewed from different angles and in two or three dimensions.
-Visit site to undertake detailed site measures.
The Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the ability to be pro-active and use your own initiative, whilst maintaining attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. You must also prove to able to take ownership and deliver to completion, within agreed timescales.
Successful candidates should:
-Be computer literate and able to use a wide range of software.
-Understand construction or production methods and processes.
-Enjoy designing on computers and creating drawings.
-A desire to progress within the company
It would be a benefit if you had experience of design using traditional drawing methods
