PHP Developer - Central London - Permanent - £60-80,000 - Online Marketing/Social Media House
My client who are a very dynamic and forward thinking Online Marketing/Social Media House are currently seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join there expanding Technology division to work on a range of projects to include mobile gaming.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
*Brainstorming, helping architect complex solutions and solve difficult challenges
*Build pages and on-site functionality using Symfony 2 in a php framework
*Contributing to the documentation eg technical specifications
*Conduct trouble shooting of defects in collaboration with the technical team.
*Perform other duties as required by the Head of Product.
Qualifications Required:
*4+ years experience with PHP 5
*Full-stack developer - must be able to handle everything from writing HTML/CSS to writing SQL queries.
*Understanding of design patterns and how to apply them
*Experience working with MVC frameworks
*Zend Framework experience
*Excellent communication skills in English
Desirable:
*Comfortable working in a command line linux environment
*Experience in using Symfony2 framework
*Working knowledge of GIT including branching, merging, git flow etc.
Understanding of frontend development with HTML and Javascript (Jquery)
