Forming part of a worldwide agency network that spans 300 cities across 125 countries you will be joining a global marketing communications agency that transforms brands and grows businesses, large and small, on a national and international scale. Based just South of Manchester they employ around 250 people and are now looking for a Marketing Data Analyst / Modeller to join the team.
Reporting to the Head of Data Services, the Marketing Data Analyst / Modeller will perform data analysis and statistical modelling on client databases. With typical projects that include selections, reporting and insights for global CRM programmes along with helping our blue chip clients to understand who their customers are and why they behave in the way that they do. Expect to work on large data sets delivering the expert analysis and insight that provides the all important competitive edge.
Whether you are working on detailed campaign management, reporting/analytics or data mining, propensity modelling and segmentation, the role requires carrying out in-depth reporting, and presenting findings both internally and externally where appropriate. In terms of balance of duties, the role is roughly 70% analysis / 30% modelling.
To qualify… We are seeking Marketing Data Analysts, Modellers or similar who can demonstrate:
- Comprehensive experience and knowledge of SAS
- Proficiency in the use of MS Access and Excel
- Experience or demonstrable interest in Direct Marketing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Mathematics / statistics / science degree or equivalent
Any prior exposure to clustering and propensity modelling is advantageous, as is SQL experience.
