Founded in 1997 and based in the heart of Edinburgh you will be joining an independent software consultancy that specialise in rapid application development (RAD) for enterprise, commercial, academic and creative environments. With a focus towards mobile platforms (iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows Mobile etc.) they have the capability to develop and launch apps in super quick time.
Joining as a Graduate Software Developer you will focus on delivering high quality, innovative code covering a variety of technology areas. Working extensively with the LiveCode technology, you will also support the needs of other software developers all over the world who rely on this technology. If you haven’t Googled LiveCode already it is a tool that uses an ultra-high level, English like scripting language to promote speed and ease of development. An app written in LiveCode can be built for Mac, Window, Linux, iOS and Android.
To qualify... We are seeking passionate and committed Graduate Software Developer with a talent for making even the biggest technical challenges seem simple. As a guideline, your CV should highlight:
- Education to graduate level (2:1 or higher in a Computer Science related or Maths) or equivalent
- Strong mathematics ability
- Good all round programming skills
- A keen interest in low level programming
- Aptitude for one or more of the following languages (C, C++, Objective C)
Any exposure to or an interest in software architecture is advantageous.
