Authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and members of the London Stock Exchange this specialist Private Client/Institutional Stockbroker and Corporate Finance house focus on AIM Small/Mid cap, Blue Chip Equities and New Issues. Due to ongoing expansion they are now seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team.
Working alongside the Company Accountant you will provide essential Accounts Administration, Petty Cash, Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger duties utilising Sage Line 50. You should be the type of Accounts Assistant who thrives within an organisation that offers hands-on experience and support in the development of a career in accounts.
The successful candidate will be exposed to all areas of accounts preparation and as a result should possess good working knowledge in the following areas:
- Sage Line 50 – including includes bank reconciliations, petty cash, direct debits, payroll, VAT Returns, purchase and sales ledgers and credit control.
- Double entry book keeping.
- Excel – Marco and Micro level.
