My client, a London investment bank, seek a front office application support analyst to assist the front office team in supporting their credit cash systems, and interface applications for trade pricing. The front office team work on the trading floor and provide a service directly to the trading desks.
You will be providing 1st and 2nd line direct, face-to-face problem solving to the Business end users as quickly as possible and maintain maximum system availability/ usability. Therefore, you will need to have excellent communication skills, relationship management and diagnostic and keep the business fully up to date with current situation.
You will also take part in receiving user calls and log in a call tracking system, perform initial troubleshooting with the user, utilising a combination of past experience and a pick-list of common problems and solutions.
So, ask yourself:
- Do you have substantial experience/ knowledge of Cash Etrading?
- Knowledge of key vendor systems including ION MarketView?
- Good technical understanding of Unix or Linux, SQL and/or PERL Scripting
