BI/ Data Warehouse Architect (SQL Server 2005) required for a leading IT Software Consultancy based in Hertfordshire. The position will require successful candidate to provide expert OLAP, Data Warehouse design, and leadership abilities. The role will require candidate to be both strong technically and have excellent presentational skills in order to demonstrate solutions to clients.
The role will involve creating a data warehouse from scratch at a global food retail client where there is currently 250+ data sources in which to pull data from.
Key skills necessary:
Data modelling (logical & physical) based on Business requirements
Extensive SSIS, SSRS, SSAS skills
OLAP, MDX
Methodology Experience e.g. Agile, Kimball
Extensive ETL Knowledge
Proven SQL Server 2005 experience
Transact SQL Skills
Data warehousing development & design
Excellent communication skills
This client is currently working with several international Retail clients implementing, migrating or developing several BI services.
