As a progressive travel company with several brands and a presence within 17 countries my client is seeking a number of proven travel professionals with worldwide travel skills able to dranw on their experiences to sell long haul travel and earn an OTE of £30,000.
The role of Long Haul Travel Consultant:
- To answer calls from customers wishing to book long haul tailor-made travel across several brands and campaigns within the business
- Utilise CRS Amadeus to book flights
- Maximise sales opportunities and close the sale
- Constantly update own knolwedge of worldwide destinations
- Desire and commitment to build relationships and earn excellent commission
- Work within a shift environment
Required skills of a Long Haul Travel Consultant:
- Proven GDS Skils preferrably Amadeus - (will cross train or train for the right person)
- Previous experience withint the travel industry with a proven track record of success within sales
- Have travelled to at least one other continent other than Europe
- Flair to develop inspiring travel itineraries
- Ability to develop relationships externally and internally
- Can work well under pressure and to KPI's for sales and quality
- Able to work within a shift pattern including weekends on a rota basis
Additional Information:
- Salary up to £18,000 with OTE £28,000 - £30,000
