The new hire will join a front office development team and will work with the traders to deliver trade capture, pricing, risk, eTrading, and reporting solutions for the Credit space.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing trade capture, pricing, risk, eTrading, & reporting solutions using new strategic frameworks
- Gathering requirements for new functionality from business users; offering timely solutions; developing, testing, and implementing these solutions
- Supporting and enhancing the existing infrastructure and applications using Core Java and Clojure
Skills required:
- Strong in algorithms & data structures
- Clojure experience - ideally in a commercial environment, but personal projects also fine
- Exceptional Java programming skills including multithreading
- Experience or interest in Agile development
- Multitasking on a number of projects in parallel
- Knowledge of credit derivatives or other financial products is a nice to have
