Green Recruitment Company is recruiting for a Wind Farm Asset Manager to join the ranks of one of the world’s leading renewable energy developers. Our client has years of experience and boasts an impressive portfolio both onshore and offshore.

The Role

This role would be best suited to a candidate who is confident at multi-tasking on various wind farm assets. The suitable candidate would also hold first rate communication skills, due to the liaising with stakeholders’ nature of the job.
Responsibilities of the role
· Making sure all operating assets, follow statutory requirements for Health, Safety and Environmental performance, taking into particular consideration requirements and conditions set by the local authority, grid company connection and power purchase agreements.
· Establishing strong relationships in the community (such as landowners) where projects are developing. Ensuring accurate and timely payments to stakeholders.
· Prepare reports for management in a concise and timely manner.
· Maintain and develop specific management tools, these include, but not limited to Operating plans, Asset Registers and CMMS.
· Budget responsibility for projects, including annual input to business planning process as well as periodic reforecasting process.

Internal
· Using own initiative to make best use of internal resources to implement project specific plans.
· Delegating work to internal engineering resources to diagnose and remedy operational problems.


External
· External relationships to be established and maintained are Project sub-contractors, landowners, community stakeholders and 3rd party operations managers.
· Strong relationship building with contractors aiming to optimize their performance.

Experience and skills
· Applicant will have an Engineering/Science degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
· Knowledgeable on various management systems including Health and Safety, quality and environmental and work control procedures; in context of renewable energy plants.
· Experience of budget preparation and management.
· Working knowledge of computerised SCADA systems and maintenance management systems.
· Competent in the use of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Access)

Personal
· Applicant must have good interpersonal skills and high team working ability.
· Able to use own initiative and display tenacity in pursuing targets.
· Planning and organising skills with a high attention to detail.
