Senior Project Manager

This London based charity is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager, to work closely with the Service Improvement Manager.

The role will include the project management of the venture, ensuring it is developed to a high standard and delivered to agreed timescales and quality. The work to be undertaken includes: agreeing the future vision, reviewing options on how to achieve the vision operationally, operationalise the vision, monitoring implementation and managing the handover to 'business as usual'. This project has potential for significant impact on the charity; therefore, it is of strategic importance.

Duties include:
Project management

Develop and maintain suite of project control documents

Robust requirement specification and implementation

Set and deliver key milestones, output and outcome criteria

Identify, manage and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate at necessary

Direct, support and facilitate project team

Liaison, co-ordination and control of external suppliers

Stakeholder engagement

Effectively engage appropriate internal and external stakeholders throughout the project to ensure robust specification of needs and successful implementation.

Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, establishing and maintaining effective networks of colleagues to ensure ongoing commitment to and involvement in the project.

Candidates applying will be educated to degree level or have the relevant experience. Ability to successfully manage Project Team to deliver to agreed timescales, costs and quality is essential together substantial experience of managing complex, national projects that create significant cultural, behavioural and working practice change
