IT Support Analyst (Architecture Firm) - 25-30k+
Location: Central London /LondonBridge
A leading award winning Architecture firm based in the heart of London is looking to hire an IT Support Analyst to join their established IT department. The team support a very creative consumer base in a dynamic working environment so the team have built fantastic relationships across the business and are the go to guys for systems troubleshooting. They look after physical and virtual provisioning, SAN data and associated security, networks (TCP/IP), servers, applications, databases and other essential services.
It is ideal if the support analyst has some exposure/understanding of Commvault/data management software but even some appreciation of daily backups will suffice. Knowledge of all of the technologies below is not required, but a good work ethic and strong desire to learn is essential.
The role will involve:
- Troubleshooting both systems and associated applications/software inc: MS Office, Adobe, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, Windows Server and CAD support
- Hardware Build, Consumer Setup/Move and Support
- Data Security Management and Backups - eg. CommVault
- Assisting with Projects and Application Roll-outs/Deployments
This role would be ideal for a graduate/junior level candidate with a year or two help desk/IT support experience who is looking to learn a broad set of skills. The IT director and manager are very keen to train and mentor this person if they show the enthusiasm and desire to develop themselves so gaps in knowledge at this stage is not a problem. This role is also applicable to support analysts with more experience (must have good CommVault knowledge) as long as they have the right long term motivations.
