Robert Half Finance and Accounting (Devon & Cornwall) are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to work for a leading manufacturing business based just out of Bodmin near Bugle.
This position is ideally suited for a Qualified AAT or Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) manager who is looking to develop their career with a stable and growing company. Proven experience is essential to succeed in this role.
The Finance Manager will support the Finance Controller in day to day activities as well as leading the team in project work.
Main duties will include:
**Production of monthly management accounts and quarterly VAT returns
**Reconciliation of all control accounts and maintenance of general ledgers
**Production and review of gross margin and variance on company contracts
**Liaison with banks & external accountants
**Processing invoices and general support of other finance staff in:- Credit Control, Sales Ledger and payments.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of management accounts and day to day running of the general ledger. Candidates must have strong Excel skills and systems experience. They must have great interpersonal skills and be motivated and proactive.
