Installation Engineer - Southampton - £35,000-£40,000
Commissioning Engineer required for a leading manufacturer based inSouthampton. This role will suit a hands-on engineer with extensive knowledge of electro-mechanical system build. You will play a key role in the production team and be the point of contact for trouble shooting and failure mode diagnostics.
The Role
- Understand how hardware will interface with the customer's system
- Configure hardware hardware to suit customer's application
- Lead factory testing
- Attend customer sites for installation and commissioning
- Provide feedback and support to the engineering design team
The Person
The successful applicant will be:
- A true hands-on engineer with experience of high-speed machinery
- Experience of prototype system build/assembly/test
- Proven track record in a customer facing role
