I am now looking for a UK Territory Manager to be home based with a large portion of travel across theUKand potentially growing in toEuropefor a leading technology based surveillance company. My client has a number of offices in theUKandNorth America. A salary of £50K - £55K + an excellent commission structure and package is in place.
The role will be strictly autonomous and will cover theUKand certain European countries mainly with a growing total remit for the whole ofEurope. You can be based anywhere in theUKwith monthly visits to my clients offices in the North of England. The role is with in a well known and still rapidly growing leading technology based company that looks after their staff, has excellent career opportunities available to them and has a sterling reputation in the market.
You will report in to the Chairman of the Company and work very closely with him upon joining the business. You will spend time with him and attend meetings together to ensure you are picking up their sales process and the technical side of the product range. Full on-the-job training will be provided until you are ready to go it alone, that time frame is up to you.
You will be focusing your attention on new business as there will be very little account management. The primary objective for this role is to increase new business and to grow my client's presence across theUKand potentially further a field in time. Companies you will be looking to develop are; RWE, Dong, Centrica, Natural England etc. They have an excellent reputation in theUKand they are now looking to take this to the next level.
You will be putting significant work in to bidding and tendering for projects with a scientific and mathematical focus, you will need to look in to around 12 a year with a view to winning 2 or 3. Given my clients market leading reputation, the sale is relatively simple however you need to be a great relationship builder, have a personal touch and have a technical background with experience of winning technical £100K + proposals.
This really is an urgent requirement for my client as they need the right candidate in the role immediately, you will need to be self motivated, commercially astute, have experience of a solutions sale and have experience working in an autonomous role previously. It is important that you are comfortable with a high amount of UK & European.
