The software is stable and well supported; so much of the anticipated work is new development. The technology stack includes native C++, C++/CLI, C# .Net, with a little WPF and WCF, so the successful candidate should be prepared to develop across these technologies, but primarily in C++.
The successful candidate will also be required to work on the internal system, which is a proprietary trade & data repository and valuation service. New development uses C# .Net and SQL server.
Technical Skills:
Essential:
· Expert C++ development on a Windows platform
· Very strong C# .Net
· Experience of STL, COM
· Software architectural design, using recognised patterns
· Experience programming with C++ against Microsoft SQL Server
· TFS, Subversion or similar source control systems
· Strong technical, process, interpersonal and written communication skills
· Experience of grid computing, ideally Platform Symphony or DataSynapse
· Experience of C++/CLI or managed C++
· Experience of Microsoft Excel, XLL programming
· Experience of WPF and WCF
· Experience of Gigaspace/Gemstone/Coherence or similar cache technologies
· Middleware technologies, such as MQ
· Experience working as part of an Agile development team
· Basic derivatives knowledge
