My client is a global FTSE 100 company, who, due to a recent restructure, are recruiting for a high calibre Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in Central/ West London. The successful candidate will have a proven track record within a Global Organisation, having managed a medium-large team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for motivating the AP team into meeting tight deadlines and providing accurate analytical reporting in line with contractual requirements. Other aspects of the role will include recruitment, training and developing a team, overseeing input of invoices and payment of supplier accounts and resolution of queries. Candidates applying for this role must have a MINIMUM of 2 years managerial experience within an International Organisation and a proven track record of managing and developing a large team. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential due to the frequent liaison with senior management and clients. High level of accuracy and attention to detail is also imperative in addition to the ability to work well under pressure.
