£45 - £55 - 2-5 days a week with a view of long term supply
A lovely SEN School based in Cardiff is looking for an experienced Learning Support Assistants to join their team on a long term basis. The School caters for children with a wide range of physical and learning disabilities from the ages of 3 - 19 years old. The School needs someone who has Manual Handling as many of the children need help with personal care and help moving and positioning some children to assure they are comfortable throughout the day. Some children are severely ill and physically disabled so needs 1-2-1 care all day, so the School needs someone who can cope with the intensity of the role.

You will be responsible for keeping in line with their high standards by ensuring that the children in your care can learn and play in a safe environment, and will of course take into consideration each individual child's specific needs.

*An experienced learning Support Assistant with Manual Handling
*Able to demonstrate a successful background of working with children who have additional learning needs
*Experience working with children that have physical and learning disabilities.
*Used to providing personal care and support and happy to do so if asked
*An exceptional communicator who can engage children of varying ages and abilities
*Able to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
