This London based charity is looking to recruit a Business and Marketing Intelligence Analyst, to work closely with the Director of Membership. This position will act as the business and management link to the IT Department in respect of bespoke information requests and data and drive BI and MI efficiency.
The Business and Marketing Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for providing information, intelligence and insights that will help the business to make key decisions through the analysis of market and in-house data and research. This role will enable the business to make high quality, objective decisions by identifying and advising on key challenges and opportunities through the development and application of insightful and objective competitive market analysis.
Develop robust data analysis through financials, web analytics, call centre analysis, competitive analysis, etc
Create, map and make recommendations to improve business intelligence within each
Directorate and as a whole (working with IT Department where appropriate).
Drive consistent data quality, data ownership and seek improvements in data gathering and maintenance locally.
Manage, collate, interpret and distribute information, insights and trends.
Analyse competitive market strategies through a range of sales and pricing models.
Candidates applying will be educated to degree level or have the relevant experience. Knowledge of SQL 2005 relational databases, Access, Excel, Webtrends, MRM/CRMs is essential together with a demonstration of a methodical approach and skilful ability to interpret information. Ability to understand and interpret findings from research and information and apply them effectively to business issues is required. Experience of providing business/market or competitive intelligence and experience of client-facing marketing or business development is essential.
