Robert Half Financial Services are currently recruiting for a leading international banking group who provide a comprehensive and award winning service to their clients. The group are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to provide world class financial reporting, adding value through providing professional, independent and objective financial advice and control that will assist the Business Units to achieve business objectives whilst complying with Group policies and standards, and external statutory obligations.
The role will assist the Head of Financial Control in managing the monthly closing process, ensuring that all monthly, quarterly, half-year and annual Head Office and regulatory reporting requirements are met. It is also a key point for the candidate to be the key point of contact between the onshore and offshore team to review and ensure all appropriate tasks are completed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner. Due to the day-to-day activity for the role it is vital that applicants have a strong background within banking and have existing experience of accounting for financial products.There is a huge opportunity for the successful candidate to add value and progress with their experience in this role, due to current restructuring and streamlining the client would like candidates to have an ambitious attitude and the ability to improve current reporting and control processes, strong system and interpersonal skills would be a huge advantage for applicants.
Salary & Benefits
