Planning on Job Hunting in the New Year?

Like many people, you may be considering a change of career for 2013. It's a well known fact that the January blues really do exist, and as a result January often sees the most hits on internet job boards.

Your reason for wanting a change could be anything from:

- Under paid

- Project work drying up

- Over worked-undervalued

- Internal conflicts

- Too long a commute

- Lack of career progression

- Or you could just simply be bored…

The list in endless, and whilst I would encourage you to leave your current role if any of the above apply to you, I'd urge you not to wait until the New Year. We are currently in our busiest period with several live client requirements; however this will soon end when 2012 budgets are spent and 2013 budgets get calculated.

The first quarter of the year is our quietest - our clients tend not to increase their recruitment momentum until at least March/April when they have a better idea of available budget and project forecasts.

That said however, January is our strongest time in terms of candidate shortlists - we find ourselves with more candidates than available positions.

I have several live requirements for various roles acrossScotlandincluding:

- Java Developer

- Software Developer (Java, C, C++)

- Development Manager

- Mobile Developer

- Web Developer

All of these positions are required to be filled by the end of the year - if you are interested in a no obligation chat then please call on 0131 243 4000 or email you latest CV
